Indigenous employment program

Our Indigenous employment program is aimed to assist Indigenous staff gain qualifications that will continue to develop their potential and increase their career growth. We work closely with employment agencies such as Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES).

Indigenous Procurement is an important aspect of our Indigenous Participation Policy. Through partner suppliers (contractors) and direct recruitment strategies and plans we aim to employ at least 10% indigenous staff across our organisation, with the goal of growing this over time

In the spirit of reconciliation Premium Solutions acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

 

Ethical Resourcing

Premium Solutions commits to integrating ethical and socially responsible business practices into all aspects of operations, so they can meet the expectations of its valued stakeholders.  Our Ethical Sourcing Policy embodies Premium Solution’s commitment to both the ethical manufacture and supply of merchandise and working with suppliers to improve their social and environmental practices.  The Policy is based on internationally accepted labour standards. Premium Solutions has the expectation that its suppliers will also share and demonstrate the same commitment.

 

Sustainability

Premium Solutions is committed to managing its activities to promote environmental sustainability, conserve and enhance our natural resources, prevent environmental pollution and bring about continual improvement in our environmental performance.

Modern Slavery

Premium Solutions is committed to respecting human rights and protecting the fundamental dignity of workers.  This includes taking steps to ensure there is no slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory human labour, human trafficking, child labour, debt bondage and deceptive recruiting for labour or any other form of modern slavery in any part of Premium Solution’s business or its supply chains. Premium Solutions expects its service providers, suppliers, and contractors to share its commitment to act lawfully and ethically and to work to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place within their organisations or supply chain.

 

Zero Wastage

Premium Solutions commits to keeping waste to an absolute minimum by preventing, reusing, recycling or recovering waste wherever possible.  We will ensure waste is sorted, stored and disposed of properly and in a sustainable manner in all of our locations.
